The median rent in euros per square metre on newly signed residential leases registered with the tax authority, quarterly from 2020Q1 to 2025Q1. It reflects rents actually agreed in new contracts, not advertised asking rents and not the rent paid under older ongoing leases. This edition is closed: Statistics Portugal ended it at 2025Q1 and republished the series under a revised 2026 methodology, so it is kept here for the historical record.
